High Performance Acoustic Package for Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor.
A retrofit Acoustic Package was supplied on an Alstom Power Tornado Gas Turbine Compressor Set to meet an extremely low noise level of 44 dBA overall from all noise sources at 300 meters. In addition the Exhaust System Noise Level had to meet a maximum SPL of 33 dBA at 300 with a limit of 68 dB at 31.5 Hz.. In order to meet this extremely stringent specification our company supplied an off-skid acoustic enclosure with internal walk-way, complete combustion air inlet silencing system, exhaust system and silenced acoustic ventilation system. All of the air and gas path silencers are multi stage designs with flanking breaks for increased performance.
The customer tested the finished system which passed all of the stringent specification requirements. |
